Wyoming is a 6 bedroom colonial bungalow nestled in the wooded haverlock hill overlooking the Ooty town. This heritage property is about a century old and has been a holiday home to my ancestors since the 1940's. Designed and Built by an Australian gentleman, as a get away summer holiday home, Wyoming colonial bungalow has held beautiful memories for generations. Ooty, The Queen of the Nilgiris has always been a holiday heaven for urbaners and my grandfather enjoyed spending summer away from the Bombay heat. He used to rent this colonial bungalow for the summer, and finally bought the house out of sheer love for the place. Our family has enjoyed this house since, and we still spend most summers at this colonial bungalow enjoying its natural beauty and surroundings. 

This colonial bungalow in Ooty is maintained in its absolute original glory with basic modern creature comforts, and running hot water all the day. Curl-up with a book or a loved one in the Warmth of the wood fire place. Spend time enjoying the serene beauty of Ooty, there is a beautiful walk in the forest just behind the house, or a longish walk to Marlimund lake a few kilometers away besides, there are more options of the botanical gardens, Govt. run lake for a boat ride, Dodabetta - the highest peak in the South India, and the rose gardens etc. Indulge in the natural bounty of a variety of seasonal fruits and flowers that the land has to offer.
